We have accepted a bid to rebuild and redesign the boat ramp docks, and to facilitate a more enjoyable/comfortable place to sit and enjoy the facilities.  When completed, there will be a new patio area and there will be seating on both the patio and large dock.  The large dock will also have cleats to secure your boat to and a ladder down to the water to make your entry/departure easier.  The work should be completed before summer!

The new park bench has been built and installed near the playground to make it easier for parents to comfortably watch their children play at the playground.  We’ve heard great reviews and the board is glad you like the new additions.

Most of the new landscaping is finished around the Pool/Recreation Center but look for the new large flower bed to be installed soon.  The goal is to make the area into more of a “park-like” theme and entice our residents to use the facilities more.  Take a minute and go down there to relax by the lake – what a great place to enjoy the weather and the view!

As many of you are have mentioned, the perimeter wall repair, resurfacing, and repainting is complete.  We’re thrilled with the outcome and are glad the residents approve of the dramatic improvement in our community.

Unfortunately, another car has struck our wall on University Blvd and caused structural damage.  Since the damage presented a potential safety hazard, the HOA has had the damage repaired immediately.  The management company is in the process of tracking down the driver’s insurance information and we will seek reimbursement.  The block work and stucco is complete but the painting will be finished in the next few days.
